With Krush having reopened its doors as an Olde Towne favorite, Chef Eric Brinkley has returned to the helm as Executive Chef. Known for his creative food combinations, exquisite food presentations, and delectable and upscale entrées – Eric is committed to delivering quality food and a superior dining experience.

Eric launched his career as a line cook at Locks Point in Chesapeake, Virginia, where he mastered the art of seafood preparation. In 2005, he served as the Executive Chef of Reign Restaurant & Lounge (renamed Entourage) in Norfolk, Virginia and later moved on as the Executive Chef of Krush Restaurant & Martini Lounge. In this capacity, he showcased his culinary skills at greater level – featuring an eclectic menu with an exotic spin on international cuisine. He also played an integral role in launching the restaurant, which opened in 2007.

After a successful year at Krush, Eric branched out to open his own restaurant, Elite Taste in Virginia Beach, VA , which he operated simultaneously with Krush.

Over the last five years, Eric has been featured in several local publications, such as the Virginian Pilot, Hampton Roads Magazine, Portfolio Magazine, and Hampton Roads Business Magazine. He has also made appearances on local news shows, such as WVEC Channel 13 News' Hidden Hot Spots.

Krush, back by popular demand, reunites Eric with his love for the kitchen – where all the magic happens. As the new owner and Executive Chef of Krush, Eric offers a southern twist to the former Krush – focusing on one of his many passions…preparing food for the soul.
